What Sony's Game Pass Line Up Could Potentially Look Like

Project "Spartacus" won't be offering first party titles at launch, so here's a breakdown of what could make the service worthwhile
by Joe Wilcock on March 28, 2022

PlayStation's Project Spartacus

The full details on Sony's response to Xbox's Game Pass will be revealed next week. All we know for now is that it will feature a 3 tiered payment model (Essential - $10, Extra - $13 and Premium - $16), it won't offer first-party new releases at launch and it will be a combination of PlayStation Now and Plus. So, with the omission of new games, like the Xbox Game pass offers, Sony will look to rely upon their rich backlog of exclusives to make the service a legitimate competitor.

With that said, Sony has the potential to put all of their exclusives under one roof, and if they manage to offer at least half the library they've produced over the past 2 decades then this service could be monumental. Taking into account all of their first-party studios, here are all the biggest games at Sony's disposal. Games released for the PSP and PSVITA have also been included below, although it's unlikely that they would offer these games on consoles, they still have the opportunity to.

Apart from the rest of the Spyro and Crash Bandicoot games, which were developed by different studios, there's no reason why we can't see most of these titles on "Spartacus". It might be a legal nightmare for some, but for the first party publishers that are still on board at Sony, we can hope to get most of their games.

Here's hoping they can somehow put all of the Kingdom Hearts on there too!

Kingdom Hearts
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
Kingdom Hearts II
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
Kingdom Hearts coded
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance
Kingdom Hearts χ
Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ
Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue
Kingdom Hearts Union χ
Kingdom Hearts III
Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory

If they can figure out how to get all these aforementioned games on there, sign me up for the highest payment tier possible.
