A Halo Infinite 'Early Access' Bundle Leaks Online

4 pieces of DLC could be coming at some point
by Oliver VanDervoort on November 02, 2021

It looks like Halo Infinite will be getting an Early Access bundle and multiple DLC packs, according to a new report.

Aggiornamenti Lumia, who regularly reports on listings that are added to the Xbox and Windows stores before they’re published, noted that a new listing for an Early Access Digital Bundle was added to the store, which included Halo Infinite as part of it.

Over the weekend, Aggiornamenti Lumia had also noted that Microsoft was in the process of adding DLC for Halo Infinite to the store. On Saturday they pointed out: “Halo Infinite got three new DLCs over the last few hours.” Then, the following day they simply added to their report with a single word. “Four."

The Early Access store listing is currently entirely blank apart from the text “Early Access Digital Bundle”, but if valid it marks the first indication of a plan to allow some Halo Infinite players to start playing before the game’s December 8 release date.

That of course, would be nothing new these days. Video games often give players early access in exchange for paying a bit extra. It would also make some sense for this game, considering that most users are going to be playing the game through Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft is likely looking for a way to make a bit of extra cash for those who may not otherwise have planned to buy the game.

With Halo Infinite releasing on December 8, it stands to reason this particular preorder package will get confirmed or explained away one way or another, relatively soon.
