Battlefield 2042 Players Petition for Their Money Back

I genuinely didn't think that things could get worse.
by Natalie Collazo on February 09, 2022

If you haven't heard about the atrocity that was the launch of Battlefield 2042 and its following updates, then clearly there's no wrong time to start. A change.com petition has been spotted by players who have purchased EA and DICE's latest installment to the Battlefield franchise, asking for refunds.

Battlefield 2042 Refund Petition Reaches 25,000 Signatures

The petition states that,

EA’s release of Battlefield 2042 was a mockery of every customer who purchased this video game for $70 (USD) due to EA’s false advertising. Battlefield 2042 has cost consumers millions of dollars in damages and upset thousands of customers worldwide.

As of writing this, over 75 thousand people have signed. It's no secret that the game was not well received with even EA and DICE themselves both admitting that the game did not meet their expectations. To make matters worse, this comes after it was announced that the first season release would be delayed indefinitely. There have been no comments from either the developer or the publisher on the petition and it doesn't look as though anyone who purchased the game will be receiving any kind of refund any time soon, but time will tell.

If you happened to be among those who purchased the game and would also like a refund, keep up with this story on DailyGamer.
