June’s PS Plus Lineup Leaks Again

Deallabs has reportedly shared the information
by Joe Wilcock on May 31, 2022

Not for the first time, next month's PlayStation Plus free games have been revealed by creditable leaker Deallabs. If they are to be believed, which their track record suggests they should be, fans could be getting God of War, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, and Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker as their June PS Plus lineup.

Available from June 7th to July 5th, this trio of games could mark the merger between PS Plus and PS Now in Sony’s new 3 tiered subscription service set to launch next month. As for the games themselves, it looks like another stellar lineup from Sony.

God of War: Ragnarok looks set to release in the second half of this year so ensuring that its predecessor stays on the service makes sense. Not much needs to be said as to its quality though, simply any gamer worth his salt should have played it already. However, considering it's already featured on the PlayStation Plus Collection it feels like we're getting two games instead of three.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, on the other hand, is a welcome addition. Multi-Verse media is popular at the moment and so too are Meta-Verse Smash-Likes. MultiVersus, the Warner Bros cross over brawler, has just ended its closed beta and what was featured within was very impressive. Although Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl may not have been the home-run Ludosity expected, thanks in large part to the omission of any voice acting, it may still scratch the itch for a cross over smash-like.

The last game, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, is a multiplayer fighting game released back in 2018 by Soleil. The game is more akin to military shooter PvP games rather than traditional fighting games in how the matches are played, which is novel at least. Players who are fans of the anime will undoubtedly enjoy this one and it may also serve as an entry point for anyone else looking to jump in.

Although the source is rarely incorrect, save for a few titles here and there, this is still unconfirmed. Deallabs have a good history on these matters, but still, take it with a pinch of salt.
