Skull and Bones Gets Ubisoft Forward Spotlight Show - PlayStation LifeStyle

It's been almost five years since we all first heard about Ubisoft's Skull and Bones back at E3 2017. It suffered an intense development hell where fans didn't see anything until it was finally leaked earlier this year. Since then, Ubisoft has promised an announcement and now it's finally come: We will be joining our friends in the live-service pirate adventure this November 8. Players are marooned on an island where you are tasked with building your infamy and becoming the most feared pirate known. There are plenty of things that players can experience in the game including hunting for resources, crafting new items, obtaining a crew of your own, and hunting for treasure to make your mark among the other pirates that are doing the same.

A cinematic trailer was unveiled today at the Ubisoft Foward show that showed off more of what you can expect to do in the game which included gameplay features such as looting and hunting down other pirates. The ships that you obtain throughout the game will prove to be your greatest asset as you can store different essentials and collect crewmembers that are tailored to the particular type of pirate you're looking to be. You'll even be able to customize your character's appearance using the spoils you obtain after every mission. Even though the game is best experienced with friends, it looks like you'll be able to enjoy the game in a single-player mode as well.

Special editions of the game (if any) were not revealed during the showcase though fans who are looking forward to playing can register for the live tests. Skull and Bones will be setting sail on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Stadia, and Luna on November 8.
