Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Expansion Out Next Year - Game Informer

The first major DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 finally has a release window of 2023 after having only been a thought for so long. The expansion, titled Phantom Liberty, will be a "spy-thriller" set in a previously unexplored district of Night City. CD Projekt Red released a new trailer that teases what players can expect while still doing everything not to show too much. Hopefully, this means that we will get a showcase or live stream of some sort to discuss it in more detail later. The best part of this DLC is that Keanu Reeves will return as Johnny Silverhand to continue being the voice within V's head.

It was also revealed that Phantom Liberty will be available on Stadia, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X though not for players who own the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One versions. In fact, the latest 13.6 patch update, known as the Edgerunners Update, is the final update for players of the aforementioned consoles. This update is meant to be in collaboration with the upcoming Netflix anime of the same name. Players will be able to enjoy equippable items from the anime including the jacket worn by protagonist David Martinez as well as a shotgun that is used by another character.
