Deathloop Is A PS5 Exclusive Until The Fall Of 2022

Then it might be coming to Xbox Game Pass
by Oliver VanDervoort on July 12, 2021

While Arkane is now officially under the Microsoft umbrella, it's latest project won't be coming to the Xbox or Game Pass until about a year after it's official release.

Deathloop has been one of the more celebrated titles by Sony for the PS5 since it was first announced. The time-bending shooter recently got a nine-minute gameplay trailer at Sony's latest State of Play. Now, new details have come to light as to just how long the PS5 will be the only platform anyone can play the game.

While it was previously known that Deathloop was a timed exclusive, it wasn't clear for how long. The end of the newest trailer finally shed some light on that. It showed the exclusivity runs out on September 14, 2022.

This should at least give Xbox Series X/S players a bit of an idea how long they'd have to wait to play this PS5 exclusive that is being published by Bethesda and developed by Arkane Studios, both of which are now owned by Microsoft.

Considering all future Bethesda games will be available on Xbox Game Pass when they are released, one could assume Deathloop may also find its way there as well when this period is over. That is, of course, barring any specific restrictions in these deals.
