Nintendo Switch Games are Finally on Sale

No, really. They're finally on sale.
by Natalie Collazo on November 23, 2021

While we wouldn't normally post about special promotions or deals going on in the gaming sphere, it's hard to ignore a sale for new, first-party Switch titles like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that came out five whole years ago. GameStop has released their Black Friday deals early which include other Switch titles such as Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and Kirby Star Allies. Even if you're someone who prefers the digital version of these games, those same prices will be honored in-store and on the website.

It isn't new that Nintendo games rarely ever drop in price. Copies of games like Fire Emblem: Awakening and Pokemon: Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon are still the same $39.99 as when they were first released. While there's no real reason why first-party Nintendo Switch games always stay at a staggering $59.99, this is absolutely a promotion that you'll want to take advantage of while it lasts.
