Xbox Game Pass Starts with Mass Effect Legendary Edition

There's so much more coming
by Natalie Collazo on January 04, 2022

With the start of every month comes the reveal of new Xbox Game Pass games. Now, with the beginning of this month also kicking off the new year, Microsoft has announced their lineup for Game Pass and we couldn't be more excited. Here is everything coming to the platform over the next couple of weeks as well as where you'll be able to install them:

January 4

Gorogoa (Cloud, Console, PC)
Olija (Cloud, Console, PC)
The Pedestrian (Cloud, Console, PC)

January 6

Embr (Cloud, Console, PC)
Mass Effect Legendary Edition, via EA Play (Console and PC)
Outer Wilds (Cloud, Console, PC)

January 13

Spelunky 2 (Console, PC)
The Anacrusis, via game preview (Console, PC)

If you couldn't already guess, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition takes the cake as the most anticipated game in the lineup. The game includes all three of Bioware's installments in the original Mass Effect series as well as all of their respective DLC, giving players the opportunity to either experience it again or for the first time in 4k.

After January 15, these will be the games that will no longer be available to make room for the newest additions:

Desperados III (Cloud, Console, PC)
Ghost of a Tale (PC)
Kingdom Hearts III (Console)
Mount & Blade: Warband (Cloud, Console, PC)
Pandemic (Console, PC)
Yiik: A Postmodern RPG (PC)
