S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl Delayed to December 8

The game initially set to release late April this year
by Natalie Collazo on January 13, 2022

Developer GSC Game World announced today that the release of their highly anticipated fourth installment to the STALKER series would be delayed to the end of the year. The announcement comes from a tweet via the game's official Twitter:,

It's no secret that the Covid-19 pandemic has slowed a lot of game development to a halt, but it has also been no secret that games have taken on more delays to ensure the quality upon release.

Regardless, fans of the series have now received their second punch to the gut with the first being GSC Game World announcing and then rescinding their use of NFTs within their upcoming game via Twitter. Shortly after the initial announcement, the development company received so much backlash from fans saying that they would not purchase the game to the point where now the idea is no longer involved in the project.

While this is only the latest development for the game, be sure to keep up with the latest STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl news and updates on Daily Gamer.
