Trifecta of Call of Duty Games Coming to PlayStation

Next 3 Call of Duty games to launch on all platforms
by Adam Braunstein on January 27, 2022

With the massive sale of Activision Blizzard recently, Call of Duty fans have started panicking all over the place. Would their beloved franchise be confined to Xbox and PC's for the foreseeable future? Would all their hard work getting their K/D ratios elite for nothing? Well, the answer to that is maybe. At least for the time being.

It has been announced that the next three Call of Duty games are going to be on all the systems as they normally are. Yes, that includes Playstation 4 and 5 as well. This means that at least for the next couple of years, we're going to get our Call of Duty games on the Playstation side as expected. What is very ominous though is the lack of dedication past that. Did they have to sign a deal with Sony before leaving to guarantee they could make games for three more years before switching for good? Or is the whole "next three games" quote just doing some damage control so all the loyal PS4 and PS5 gamers won't go selling their consoles in favor of Xbox consoles.

This story will continue to develop as we get more information regarding what's going to happen to Call of Duty in the future. Right now, things seem stable there, but we can't be sure what was in those contracts and what titles will be changing hands going forth. Stay tuned.
