Skull and Bones Will Supposedly Launch in April 2023

It doesn't seem too likely but we can all hope.
by Natalie Collazo on February 17, 2022

Skull and Bones is one of the many games announced by Ubisoft with no clear release date in sight. But in a recently released earnings report, Ubisoft confirmed that the game is set to launch sometime between April of this year and next alongside other titles such as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope.

In line with Ubisoft’s commitment to significantly expand its offering, the next fiscal year will notably include the releases of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Skull & Bones as well as more exciting games.  Ubisoft continues to progress towards its ambition to extend its brands’ reach to a significantly larger audience through free-to-play across all geographies and platforms.

Skull and Bones is Ubisoft's open-world take on pirates in a multiplayer setting with development having begun sometime in 2013 and an official announcement in 2017. While there is no official release date, the involvement of the game in this report is definitely a step in the direction of announcements already set for 2023.

Hopefully, this means that we will start seeing more information regarding the title as the year progresses so remember to check back with DailyGamer for more news.
