Call of Duty: Vanguard Multiplayer Free for 2 Weeks

Featuring new maps and modes for a limited time
by Natalie Collazo on March 28, 2022

Officially announced via a blog post on the Call of Duty website, it was revealed that the multiplayer for Call of Duty: Vanguard will be available to play for free for only two weeks. This is part of what they call a Free Access period that will grant players the ability to play through new Season Two maps (Casablanca and Gondola) and experience a new large-map objective mode with vehicles that you can use to your advantage.

Casablanca takes place in Morrocco and involves tall buildings for vertical gameplay with lots of close and longe range opportunities available. It is a medium, three-lane style map. Gondola lets you travel on the Gondola above a large gulch and fire watchtower where you can also take advantage of either close or long-range tactical opportunities. It is also a medium, three-lane style map.

Players will also have access to some of Vanguard's most popular maps outside of the Season Two ones including Shipment and Das Haus. Season Two just became available on March 22 which brought new maps and gameplay modes to the game so this could possibly be to gather more players to play the base game's multiplayer. Not too many people had good things to say about the base game but maybe this content is an incentive to gather more players to the game.
