Two New Lost Ark Classes Coming By May

The classes are currently only available in the Korean version of the game.
by Natalie Collazo on April 05, 2022

Even though Lost Ark was released earlier this year to Western audiences, it was originally released to Korean players a few years back. Though much of the content has been translated and brought over to the states, there is still a lot of content that players should expect to be released over several months. One of those things includes two new classes for players to control: Glaivier and Destroyer.

The Glaivier is a female Martial Artist who uses a spear and a glaive while the Destroyer is a male Warrior who damages enemies with a large hammer. This was detailed in a blog post published by the Lost Ark team detailing the content roadmap for these next few months. The Glaivier class is expected to be released in April alongside the continent of South Vern while the Destroyer class and new Guardian Raids are expected for the end of May.

There will be other additions and updates made including the new Deskaluda Guardian Raid which pits enemies against the monster and requires an item level of 1415 to fight. At the very end of the blog, it was detailed that more information regarding summer content will become available once the April and May content is wrapped up.

Considering the fact that just about every update since launch has been filled with new content for players to enjoy, it's very exciting to think about what could be announced for the summer. Western players just recently received a gift from Smilegate as an apology for an update they did in early March which led to a lot of players reacting negatively. Many players were not at the level where the content from that update was which left a lot of them feeling left out and as though content was not being developed for them. Nevertheless, things worked out and it very much showed that Smilegate very much listens to their community and the feedback provided.
