Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout to Go Free-To-Play

It's also headed to Switch and Xbox next month!
by Natalie Collazo on May 16, 2022

Fans of the battle royale game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout can be excited to know that it will be making its free-to-play debut next month on June 21! Alongside this release, the game will also be launching on Switch, Xbox consoles, and the Epic Games store where it will also be free-to-play. The game originally launched in 2020 to incredibly positive fan feedback and was expected to launch the aforementioned versions last summer. Unfortunately, those versions needed to be delayed so that developer Mediatonic could add a cross-play feature.

This release will coincide with the game's newest season pass titled Free For All, which will feature new challenges and rewards to players to maneuver through together. There will be other updates including major upgrades to the progressions system as well as the addition of a new in-game currency: Show-Bucks. These Show-Bucks can be used for a variety of things including purchasing the season pass but players can also earn it through game progression.

If you've already paid for Fall Guys in the past, don't fret! Legacy players will have access to the Legacy Pack bundle as well as the Free For All season pass.
