Ubisoft has announced two different shows to be coming up both this coming week as well as in September. The highly anticipated Skull and Bones is first up in this set of shows with a gameplay reveal starting on July 7 at 11am PT / 2pm ET. This reveal will spotlight things that had been leaked several months ago including the trading and travel aspect of pirates on the Indian Ocean during the Golden Age of Piracy. The show will be available to watch on both Twitch and YouTube during all four days of the available days of showing.

The game was shown during E3 2017 and was posed to be a pirate game unlike any other that will focus on the nitty-gritty aspect of what makes the pirate life so appealing. Not much was announced after that and many people were under the impression that it happened to fall into development hell. It wasn't until a leak followed by an official statement from the Skull & Bones that we finally heard about some traction happening with the project. Even last week, the game received a rating of M-Mature by the ESRB due to several factors of maturity. While it might not mean much, there is definitely proof that we are probably going to be seeing the game sooner rather than later. We might even get a release window during this showcase.

The second showcase that Ubisoft will be going over is the Ubisoft Forward event to discuss their other IPs including the upcoming Mario+Rabbids game as well as Far Cry and more. This year also marks the 15th anniversary of the Assassin's Creed franchise which could very well mean that there is an announcement awaiting on the horizon.

Check back with DailyGamer for more news and information about Ubisoft and any of their IPs in the coming months.
