ORDER and Hatz Part Ways

The Australian CS:GO squad is making changes ahead of the next season
by Tit Krajnik on August 08, 2022

Australian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team ORDER announced the departure of Jordan "Hatz" Bajic. The 24-year-old leaves the team as the first departure of the offseason.

After spending a little over two months with ORDER, the Australian CS:GO roster announced the first departure of the offseason, unveiling that Hatz will no longer be a part of the squad in the new season. This ends Hatz's second stint with the organization that he played for in 2018-2020 before leaving for Renegades (who got acquired by ORDER) in January 2020.

Hatz kicked started his CS:GO esports career in January 2016 with Trident Esports, and has since played for Legacy eSports, parallax, Avant Garde, and Kings Gaming Club, which became a part of the inaugural ORDER roster in January 2018.

During his first stint with ORDER, Hatz has achieved enviable success and led the Australian squad to the WESG 2017 Asia Pacific Finals title in the first week with the organization. With Renegades, Hatz won a handful of domestic events and has achieved some success on the international stage as well. He placed second at DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020 and won DreamHack Open Summer 2020: Oceania, ESL Pro League Season 12: Oceania, and DreamHack Open September 2021: Oceania.

Since moving back under ORDER's banner in July 2022, Hatz has only attended the Play-In Stage of IEM Cologne 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 16 Conference but failed to achieve much. The Australian squad placed ninth-12th in ESL Pro League and crashed out of IEM Cologne in last place with defeats against BIG and Imperial Esports.

Over the two European events, Hatz has averaged a 0.94 performance rating, which is in complete contrast to his first stint with ORDER, in which he averaged a 1.18 rating across two years.

"Today we say goodbye to an integral part of the core CS:GO roster here at ORDER - Jordan 'Hatz' Baijic departs ahead of the competitive season's return," read ORDER's announcement.

The Australian CS:GO squad has yet to reveal who will replace the 24-year-old, but we should get more information about the latest arrival shortly. ORDER's next event is the ESL Challenger Melbourne 2022, which kicks off on September 2, featuring eight teams competing for the lion's share of the $100,000 prize pool and an invite to EPL Conference Season 17.
