One more season
by Tit Krajnik on August 26, 2022

Anthony "Methodz" Zinni has announced on Thursday, August 25, that he has extended his contract with Boston Breach and will remain on the team for the Call of Duty League 2023 season. The news comes following the Breach's plans to rebuild its CoD roster ahead of the next competitive year.

As revealed by Methodz on Thursday, he will remain with Boston Breach in 2023. With the Tweet, the 25-year-old has confirmed himself as one of the players to stay with the squad heading into the Modern Warfare II season, although it remains to be seen who will join him on the lineup.

Boston breach have recently made roster changes and parted ways with Thomas "TJHaLy" Haly and substitute Kenyen "Capsidal" Sutton, who left the team on August 12 and 15, respectively. This saw Dylan "Nero" Koch, Reece "Vivid" Drost, and Methodz as the only members of Breach's active lineup; however, none were guaranteed a spot in Boston Breach's CDL 2023 lineup.

Methodz joined Boston Breach in January 2022, when he returned to the Call of Duty League after spending the last ten months as a substitute for Toronto Ultra and competing in some lesser events. With Boston Breach. Methodz has attended all tournaments of the 2022 season and has achieved middling success.

Notably, Boston breach placed third in CDL Stage 2 Major and qualified for CDL Stage 4 Major as the third seed. But despite their occasional flashes of greatness, Boston Breach have not achieved much this season.

Although the team qualified for the CDL Championship, they crashed out in the first round with a 1-3 defeat against Toronto Ultra and a 2-3 loss against the eventual champions, Los Angeles Thieves. However, despite the team's lack of success, Methodz has posted solid individual performances, including a 1.097 KDA on Hardpoint.

Besides announcing Methodz as a member of its 2023 CDL roster, Boston Breach have yet to unveil its full lineup. However, with the next season fast approaching, we should get more information about the roster in the coming weeks.
