Lost Ark Getting New Classes and Raids Before End of Year

It's a big year for the Korean MMO.

Lost Ark: Why you shouldn't play Reaper class

Lost Ark swept the MMO space by storm earlier this year when the Korean game made its way over to the US. Fans were enamored by the gameplay style and character designs which made it quickly climb the ranks in being the most played game by Amazon Games. The Korean version is still leagues ahead of the US version in terms of updates but this year's updates will bring everyone up to speed. Two new classes, the Reaper and SUmmoner, are expected to release this year alongside four new raids. The Reaper class, an advanced Assassin class, is expected to come sometime in November, while the Summoner class, an advanced Mage class, will come in December. Of course, this isn't really the update the developer Smilegate has up their sleeves. The developers want to bring the US version of the game up to speed with the Korean version so that they can release several new classes that were teased.

Several new raids are expected to come in the next several months including a limited-time Mystic Abyss raid for this month. There will also be the Ashates Trial Guardianraid which will be as difficult as the most challenging INferno difficulty Legion raids. Then, in December, the Brelshaza Legion raid and Caliligos Guardian raid will also be introduced. The game's most recent update introducing the Machinist class was an incredible success so it is very exciting to see what else the game has in store.
