Did Xbox Just Reveal Their Game Pass Streaming Device?

Probably not, but you never really know
by Natalie Collazo on October 10, 2022

Celebrate 25 years of Fallout all month long

Xbox unveiled a streaming device that they call Keystone back in 2021. The device was meant to be a piece of streaming hardware that would allow players with a Game Pass account to plug in their controllers and play their games on any screen or monitor. No one has had any idea of what the device would really do let alone what it would even look like, until today. Head of Xbox Phil Spencer made a tweet today to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Fallout that had a hidden item among the shelves.

If you look at the very top shelf, there looks to be a small Xbox Series S-type console there. It looks too small to be one of the pieces of hardware currently available to buy, which has led fans to believe that it might be the highly-anticipated Keystone. Of course, the mystery continues as the official Xbox account responded to the tweet saying, "Now what did we say about putting old prototypes on your shelf boss." Whether or not this confirms anything because of the direct attention drawn to it is uncertain. It is also very possible that this was all a mistake on Phil's part which caused the community to spiral down a well of theories and thoughts about the future of the device.
