ASOS and Horizon Forbidden West Set to Release Unisex Gaming and Streetwear Apparel in the U.S Next Year

Horizon Raw Materials will produce joggers, hoodies and T-shirts inspired by Forbidden West
by Joe Wilcock on October 17, 2022

The UK, Europe, Japan and Asia were all privy to the new line of Horizon Forbidden West-inspired clothing today. Taking cues from Alloy's looks and concept art from the game, Horizon Raw Materials offers a unisex tight-fit long-sleeve t-shirt in mesh, an oversized t-shirt in white, an oversized sweatshirt in white, co-ord joggers with all over print, a co-ord oversized hoodie with all over print and co-ord joggers in brown. The range will release in the U.S early next year.

"This collection will be released under our very own merchandise brand called Horizon Raw Materials, and ranges between £26 and £38*. It launches in EU, UK, Japan and Asia regions today, and in the US in early 2023"

- Craig Stuart, Brand Art Director, Guerrilla

The full range is available to purchase on ASOS in eligible continents. Guerrilla Games have also announced a styling challenge that will go hand in hand with the launch through Tiktok and Instagram

The collection follows Horizon Forbidden West's successful release earlier this year, cementing its status as one of PlayStation's flagship exclusives, alongside God of War, The Last of Us and Spider-Man, amongst others. The unique concept and subject matter of Forbidden West lends itself nicely to a clothing range, even if the apparel may not be suited to everyone's style.

By the time the U.S are able to get their hands on this exclusive range, we should have more information on Horizon's planned remake and stand-alone multiplayer game. Both were confirmed through leaked SIE documents recently, sparking controversy as the first Horizon launched only five years ago.
