Capcom Confirms That Street Fighter 6 Won't Release Until Mid 2023

Get ready for the future of Capcom.

STREET FIGHTER 6 | CAPCOM

We all love a financial report announcement! In Capcom's most recent report, it was revealed that although they did experience success over the last six months, Street Fighter 6 will still not be available this year. In fact, the release window for the game is looking closer to April 2023. It looks like the company doesn't have any big projects between now and the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake in March. This could be the reason why Street Fighter is pushed so far back, to give this Resident Evil title ample room to shine. The two games are completely different but their popularity is clear among their respective groups.

It looks that among all of the games released by Capcom over these last few years, much success is to be awarded to Monster Hunter Rise and Sunbreak, contributing close to 15 million units sold. Following those titles is the remake of Resident Evil 2 which exceeded 10 million units sold. The report goes on to say that the company looks forward to exceeding the number of units sold this year with 40 million to be achieved next year. all in all, it looks like although Capcom is doing well as a company, they want to space out their releases.
