Planet Zoo 1.12 Update - Guided Tours

Planet Zoo fans should be happy to hear that the latest update, Update 1.12, will be available to enjoy starting on December 13. The update will be adding several new features to the game, all for free. This patch will also be launched alongside the Planet Zoo: Grasslands animal pack.

In the new update, players can expect guided tours that give guests VIP treatment. Now, you can give guests a more in-depth tour of your zoo and exhibits. These tours are customizable to the point of planning and assigning the exact habitats by using a new feature called Tour Points. Guests will automatically go to the areas that you assigned them so that they can admire and enjoy all of your hard work. A new Diorama Mode is also being added which will give players a new terrain type to be selected in sandbox mode. Players will be provided will a completely blank slate to be able to build on and upload to the Steam Workshop.

The Bulldozer Tool is also being added to help remove things from your zoo quicker than ever before. You can remove scenery, paths, and objects as well as have the ability to mix and match the type of object you want to remove. For the first time ever, players will have a more streamlined process in building and rebuilding their zoos.

As for the Grasslands animal pack, the Nine-Banded Armadillo, the Maned Wolf, the Emu, the Caracal, the Red-necked Wallaby, the Striped Hyena, and the Blue Wildebeest will all be available to add to your zoo. You'll also have the choice between five different kinds of Butterfly to populate your Walkthrough Exhibits. As you care for your animals, you can test out your management skills in a new Career Scenario set in Argentina! This narrative follows the previous one from Twilight Pack, creating a continuation of the story.
