Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC Announcement Expected Soon

“The Snitch” is back with another scoop
by Joe Wilcock on December 08, 2022

Horizon Forbidden West is due to receive new DLC, according to reputable leaker “The Snitch”. The Burning Shores was referenced several times during Forbidden West’s campaign and is described by one character as the “place of flames and brine”.

The Snitch posted a map depicting where exactly the new DLC is set to take place. San Francisco, Las Vagas and Los Angeles would all fall into proximity:

Some players have already investigated the locked-off southern region on the backs of Sun Wings where a Memorial Bridge replica was found. There are reports that the Hoover Dam could be added to the mix as well.

Sylens voice actor, Lance Riddick, had already given hints that a new DLC was on the way when he posted a tweet stating that he’s “in a session” for what we can guess is The Burning Shores expansion.

It is believed that the DLC is touted to drop on April 23rd 2023. Until then, you can grab Horizon Forbidden West on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

“Explore distant lands, fight bigger and more awe-inspiring machines, and encounter astonishing new tribes as you return to the far-future, post-apocalyptic world of Horizon”

- Guerrilla Games
