November 1st, Nintendo released a system update for the Switch, upgrading it to Version 15.0.1. This update contained various fixes and improvements to enhance the overall user experience, as well as "general system stability improvements". Recently, Nintendo released a "rebootless" update for the same firmware (Version 15.0.1), which does not require the console to be restarted or any action from the user.

This update makes changes to the list of "bad words" that are not allowed on the Switch. According to dataminer OatmealDome, various terms were added to the list and the lists were rearranged to prevent the accidental blocking of inoffensive text in certain languages. This is the first update that doesn't require an update since Version 14.1.2 in July.
