Kecleon Added to Pokémon Go Pokédex

Is there anyone else you're hoping they add?

Hunt down Pokémon Go's Kecleon as it finally arrives in game | Pocket Tactics

Fans of Pokémon Go have been waiting a long time for the arrival of Kecleon, the Color Swap Pokémon. After a five-year, two-month wait, Kecleon is finally available to catch in the mobile game. The Normal-type Pokémon was introduced in the Hoenn region, which was added to Pokémon Go in October 2017. Since then, 134 Pokémon from Hoenn have been released, leaving players waiting for the final one to complete their regional Pokédex. Kecleon has been a particularly elusive holdout, with Niantic stating that they wanted to make sure to introduce the Pokémon in a special way.

The wait is over, as Kecleon is now available to catch in Pokémon Go after the conclusion of Saturday's Chespin Community Day, which runs from 2-5 p.m. local time. Players in countries like New Zealand and Australia, where the event has already taken place, have reported being able to catch Kecleon. It appears that Kecleon is somewhat rare in the game, as it can only be found at certain PokéStops. When players attempt to spin a PokéStop with Kecleon on it, they will receive a message stating that there is an invisible obstacle blocking their way. Kecleon will then appear on the game's map and can be caught like any other Pokémon.

This is great news for Pokémon Go completionists, who have been waiting for Kecleon to fill the final slot in their Hoenn Pokédex. No longer will they have to see that giant, glaring "352" in their Pokédex. Kecleon's arrival may have been low-key, but it is sure to be a welcome addition for dedicated players of the popular mobile game. Also, if you're running into any issues, be sure to visit Niantic's support site created exclusively for support on catching Kecleon.
