Xbox Game Pass to Lose 6 Games and Add New Ones

Which titles excite you the most?

Xbox Game Pass - January Wave 1

Microsoft has recently announced the removal of six games from their Xbox Game Pass service later this month. Among the titles set to be removed on January 15 is the critically acclaimed We Happy Few, developed by Microsoft's own Compulsion Games.

This removal is particularly notable as Microsoft purchased Compulsion Games just before the game's launch in August 2018, and Compulsion had an existing publishing deal with Gearbox for We Happy Few. This could explain why the game is leaving the Game Pass library, as Microsoft's own games typically don't get removed.

In addition to We Happy Few, Microsoft is also removing Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Nobody Saves The World, Pupperazzi, The Anacrusis, and Windjammers 2 from the Game Pass library. While this may be disappointing for fans of these titles, it's worth noting that Game Pass subscribers save 20% on all Game Pass titles, offering a small silver lining.

On the bright side, Microsoft has also announced three new titles that will be added to the Game Pass library in January: Monster Hunter Rise, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable. Microsoft has stated that they are "just getting warmed up," indicating that fans can likely expect more additions to the Game Pass library in the near future.
