HEET Set To Rebuild Its CS:GO Roster

HEET is looking to reform its CS:GO division without Audrid “JACKZ” Jug
by Tit Krajnik on January 24, 2023

According to reports, the French Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team will form a new lineup which won’t include Audric “JACKZ” Jug. The 30-year-old veteran is supposedly getting replaced by Lucas “Lucky” Chastang, who will return to HEET’s active lineup.

Amid a stretch of shaky results, the French CS:GO team, HEET, are reportedly looking to make changes to its roster. As said, HEET is looking to rebuild its division and replace JACKZ with Lucky, who has spent a short stint on the bench.

The news comes just days after HEET released Aurelien “afro” Drapier and Alexandre “Bodyy” Pianaro, with the two players said to join LDLC and Team Falcons, respectively. To fill in the gaps, HEET are looking to re-install Lucky to the roster and add two new players Matthieu “Razzmo” Melot and Bryan “Maka” Canda, from TGJ and Team Falcons, respectively.

The reports of JACKZ leaving HEET did not specify why the French team decided to part ways with the CS:GO veteran. But it was said that JACKZ has a complicated relationship with the esports organization.

According to other reports, HEET have yet to fully repay JACKZ’s buyout from G2 Esports and are said to owe the 30-year-old $75,000, which he advanced when the deal between the two organizations was completed.

Whether JACKZ will ever return to HEET’s active lineup remains to be seen, but we should see the return of Lucky, who got benched from HEET in August 2022 to make room for JACKZ’s arrival. Lucky has been since an inactive member of HEET, although he made an appearance for the team in December, when he led HEET to a top-eight finish at ESL Challenger League Season 43 Relegation: Europe.

HEET have yet to announce the roster changes officially; however, the team played with the rumored additions (Maka, Razzmo, and Lucky) in their ESL Challenger League Season 44: Europe first-round bout against K23 on Tuesday, January 24.
