Sony Announces Next State of Play

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and PSVR will take centre stage
by Joe Wilcock on February 22, 2023

Sony has just announced that their next State of Play will air on Thursday, March 2, and it will feature five upcoming titles for the highly anticipated PlayStation VR2 headset, as well as a first look at the gameplay for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

The State of Play will kick off on Thursday at 1pm Pacific / 4pm Eastern / 9pm GMT / 10pm CET on Twitch and YouTube.

Fans will be privy to a “first glimpse at five PlayStation VR2 games set to arrive later this year” as well as some anticipated games from third-party developers.

Additionally, the State of Play will provide an in-depth look at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the highly anticipated action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios. Kill the Justice League is set in the DC Universe and follows the titular Suicide Squad as they attempt to take down the Justice League, who have been brainwashed by an alien threat.

Fans can expect to see the game's unique mechanics and how players will control each member of the Suicide Squad, including Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang. This will be the first look at gameplay since the game was announced at DC FanDome in August 2020.

The State of Play is expected to last around 30 minutes as per their previous broadcasts.
