In Life By You, You'll Live Life By You

The life of your dreams is just a click away.

Paradox teases Sims-like Life By You from former head of The Sims | Eurogamer.net

Have you ever hoped for an open-world Sims experience? That's the exact thing you can look forward to from Paradox Tectonic's latest creation, Life by You. In fact, the game is being developed with Rod Humble at the helm, the former CEO of Linden Lab (the force behind Second Life) as well as the former Executive Vice President of the EA Play label. He described what players should hope to expect as an "open game world where everything is customizable". The Early Access for Life By You will be available on September 12 of this year and will allow players to create their dream lives and dream characters without the limits of walls or loading screens.

Considering some of these limits, in Life by You, players are encouraged to explore the world by car, on bike, or even on foot if it means you'll have a better experience. Events are even moved forward by the conversations that you'll have with the people around you, making room for career experiences and general life adventures. Here, your characters are just as unique as you, which means that everyone will experience gameplay scenarios differently from one another.

The above trailer shows off the gameplay, which is very similar to what players have come to expect from Sims games. The difference is that instead of just having the opportunity to edit your own homes, you'll be able to drag, drop, and delete whole cities. The fact that you're able to make the lifestyle choices of your dreams that almost overshadow everything that the Sims has been able to accomplish up to now is incredible in and of itself.
