It's the second fast-selling game in the series!

How to Redeem Preorder Bonuses in Resident Evil 4 Remake

The Resident Evil remakes that have come up over the last several years have really brought back the meaning of horror within the series. The latest of these remakes, Resident Evil 4, brings players back into the shoes of Leon Kennedy as he travels to an area of Spain to rescue the president's daughter, Ashley. As expected, the game was a riveting success, bringing new and returning players to a terrifying and reimagined world.

The success was so large, in fact, that Resident Evil 4 Remake has officially sold over four million copies worldwide. The most wild part about this announcement is the fact that it has only been available for two weeks. According to Alex Aniel, a known voice within the Resident Evil community, these sale numbers make Resident Evil 4 Remake the second fastest-selling game within Capcom'scritically-acclaimed franchise, right behind Resident Evil 6.

Starting today, Resident Evil 4 will have an updated mode called Mercenaries that pits players against waves of different enemies. When it officially launches, Leon, Luis, Krauser, and Hunk will be available as playable characters. This mode was initially available in the original version of the game, and now players can experience it all over again.
