World of Warcraft Gets A New Legendary Item

But it's an Evoker-only weapon.
by Tit Krajnik on May 16, 2023

Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible Race to World First came to an end on Monday, May 15, when Team Liquid defeated Sarkareth on Mythic difficulty ahead of Echo and Method, thus reclaiming their throne as the best guild in World of Warcraft. And once the race was over, we got the first look at a new World of Warcraft Dragonflight Legendary weapon, which was kept a secret until the final boss of the raid was downed.

There have been rumours and speculations of a new Legendary weapon for weeks, but there were no official confirmations of it until May 15, when Liquid defeated the final boss of Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible. As a part of its loot table, Sarkareth dropped the Cracked Titan Gem gem quest item, which rewards a Legendary weapon named Nasz'uro, the Unbound Legacy.

As confirmed by Wowhead, the new WoW Legendary fist weapon will be an Evoker-only weapon with a 457 iLvl and stats suitable for a legendary item on top of a unique (equip) effect.

Nasz'uro, the Unbound Legacy

+2,028 Intellect
+1,351 Stamina
+189 Versatility
+267 Mastery

Equip: Your Empower spells activate the Order magic within, releasing a sphere of Order that seeks a powerful ally, increasing their primary stat by 500 and Speed by 600 for 10 sec.

The weapon's effect is designed primarily to empower allies, giving them a +500 primary stat boost and 600 movement speed, a very powerful effect that goes well with the recently announced new Evoker specialization (Augmentation). The Augmentation specialization, set to go live with Patch 10.1.5, is primarily focused on empowering allies, meaning that the Nasz'uro, the Unbound Legacy, will fit perfectly with the spec design.

As revealed, the Nasz'uro, the Unbound Legacy, has already been added to the game, and its quest item can drop from all raid difficulties. That includes Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and even Raid Finder; however, it won't be a part of the loot table until the next reset on May 16 for NA and May 17 for EU servers.

As a part of the Cracked Titan Gem gem, which awards the new Legendary weapon, players must craft parts of the weapon and combine them to complete the item. However, this won't come easy as it requires very expensive materials in Awakened Order, Illimited Diamond and bind-on-pickup reagents in Ancient Elementium Fragment, which is dropped only by Aberrus raid bosses.

As it stands now, Team Liquid member, Firewing from Illidan is the only player in the world to own a Cracked Titan Gem gem.
