Fortnite x Elder Scrolls Crossover Date Leaked

The Fortnite x Elder Scrolls collaboration might come next week
by Tit Krajnik on July 14, 2023

The Fortnite x Elder Scrolls crossover was leaked a few weeks ago by Epic Games, who added several cosmetic items to Fortnite's game data, and according to the recent discoveries, the collab is closer than expected.

Fortnite and Elder Scrolls are two of the most popular games in their genre, so the upcoming crossover is expected to be one of the biggest collabs in Fortnite's history. However, while the players already knew about the crossover, it has yet to be officially announced when it will happen.

Even though Epic Games has yet to announce the collab, it has potentially leaked some crucial information in its store earlier this week, including that the Elder Scrolls Online will become free-to-play this month. Epic Games has since removed all the traces of the leak.

According to a prominent Fortnite leaker, iFireMonkey, Epic Games plans to make Elder Scrolls Online free on its store on July 20-27, with the collaboration between TESO and Fortnite expected to happen around that time.

The information was taken from a now-removed page called "TESO-TEST," which included a release date of July 20, 2099, at 11 AM ET. It's worth noting that 2099 was only a placeholder year and that it should read "2023".

The Elder Scrolls Online is expected to be available for free on Epic Games Store, but only for the duration of the collaboration, and will have its old price of $19,99 after the promotion week. There were also mentions that getting the game will come with a cosmetic set bonus, but this has not been confirmed yet. Another mention claims that the cosmetic set bonus will instead come with buying the Magma Bundle.

Much of the information is currently only a rumor and not verifiable; however, the leaked dates (July 20-27) are possibly correct and indicate a period during which the long-awaited Fortnite x Elder Scrolls Online crossover will happen.

The new cosmetic items, which will include a new pickaxe and wrap – as confirmed by leaked images – will come with the crossover, but there is no reliable information on how the players can obtain them.

If the leaked dates are correct, we can expect more information about the crossover sometime in the next few days, ahead of Thursday, July 20.
