Xbox Game Pass Game is Offering a Free Skin

Subscribers can claim a free Exoprimal skin
by Tit Krajnik on July 25, 2023

Capcom is offering a free in-game skin for Exoprimal, a multiplayer third-person shooter multiplayer game, which was added to the Xbox Game Pass library as a day one release. The developer decided to give out free skins to commemorate the game hitting the 1 million player milestone just 11 days after its release.

Capcom's Exoprimal, a hugely popular online third-person shooter, has recently reached a huge milestone. As confirmed by the game developer, Exoprimal's player count has hit a million just 11 days after the game's release, and to commemorate the occasion, all players are getting a free Skywave skin.

The Skywave skin will become available for everyone with the upcoming August 16 update, which will also introduce many changes to the game. Capcom has refrained from revealing much more about what the next update will bring but promised that it listened to player feedback and will make improvements based on that.

Exoprimal is one of the games available to Xbox Game Pass members without any extra cost, and the list includes many third-party titles which are added on the day of the release. Some of the most notable additions to the Xbox Game Pass include Wo Long: Falled Dynastry, Atomic Heart, and Exporimal.

Exoprimal had mixed reviews upon its launch, with many players posting negative reviews due to the issues they had with the game, which included problems with the gameplay, live service, and the progression system. However, Exoprimal has since introduced updates that improved the experience, which explains the recent surge in active players.

With over 1 million active players, Exoprimal is undoubtedly a very popular game, with the majority of the players likely including those who play the game through the Xbox Game Pass. So while the game is enjoyed by many, it remains to be seen what the sales figures of Exoprimal are and if Capcom will ever reveal them.

Exoprimal was added to Xbox Game Pass last week as one of many excellent games which are available to subscription owners, including The Wandering Village, word and Fairy: Together Forever, Grand Theft Auto 5, Maquette, and many more.
