There’s tons of content ready for Dying Light 2 Year 2
by Tit Krajnik on September 28, 2023

A Dying Light 2 Stay Human roadmap trailer dropped on Thursday, September 28, giving the players a deeper look into the game’s future content. Among other additions to the game include new weapon types, co-op missions, and new game modes.

A new Dying Light 2 Stay Human exclusive roadmap trailer revealed what’s coming in the future Dying Light 2 updates, which includes a plethora of new content. The most exciting include new activities and missions, as well as co-op campaigns, board quests, Tower Raid, playable Gre anomalies, and the return of Fatin and Tolga.

There are also many quality-of-life changes around weapon repair, mod and gear dismantling, new cosmetic and customization options, new graphic options, including the option to switch Bloom on or off, and a FOV slider for Xbox Series S.

The updates don’t stop there. Dying Light 2 is also set to receive new mechanics, with new enemy variants, enemies now dropping their weapons new finishers/executions, a nightmare difficulty for those who are after a real challenge, and nightrunner tools in NG+.

We’ve got new weapon types in knives and polearms, a new rarity of weapons, and Scorpio – a new weapon that looks like a flamethrower for those hard-to-kill monsters who don’t go down any other way.

Even though the Dying Light 2 roadmap revealed a plethora of excellent changes set to be added to the game, by far the biggest is the addition of firearms. Yes, finally, we’re getting firearms added to the game!

That doesn’t mean hand-to-hand combat will become irrelevant, but it’s nice to finally be able to keep a distance and shoot zombies from afar.
