Diablo IV Arrives On Steam Later This Month

Keep it coming, Blizzard!
by Natalie Collazo on October 04, 2023

It looks like the famous ARPG, Diablo IVhas an official Steam page and will be brought to the platform on October 17. Once locked to the Battle.net client, players will now be able to play the game without having to create an account with Blizzard. There are plenty of reasons that players will not have wanted to create an account with them, but now it doesn't matter with this announcement.

This move is in an effort for Blizzard to make their games more accessible and available on the more universal PC gaming platform. Some of Blizzard's older titles have already made it to the platform, but the first big shift was when the developers brought Overwatch 2 to Steam. It was met with mixed reviews but was ultimately a hit on Steam the day that it was launched on the platform.

While it isn't said, there is sure to be cross-save and crossplay between both PC versions of the game just as there always was since it was released. Hopefully, there won't be any issues with the version and players will be able to smoothly play without problems.
