Steve Fox Confirmed for Tekken 8

Tekken will feature a plethora of returning characters
by Tit Krajnik on November 30, 2023

On Wednesday, November 29, Bandai Namco released another Tekken 8 character trailer featuring the young British boxer, Steve Fox.

Set to release on January 26, 2024, Tekken 8 is one of the most anticipated fighting game releases of 2024. Succeeding the hugely popular Tekken 7, the fighting game will feature a plethora of returning characters.

A Glimpse into the Fighter's Evolution

Steve Fox was first featured in Tekken 4 as one of the most popular fighters in the game, owing to his mysterious past and robust toolkit.

While the trailer doesn't reveal much about the celebrated fighter, it gives away much of the gameplay, showing how Fox is poised to behave in Tekken 8. And those who've been following the character's progression since Tekken 4, brace yourselves for the remarkable development progresses made.

Tekken 8's Roster of Fighters

On top of Fox, the roster of fighters is already looking very stacked. Players can expect to battle against or play with Jack-8, King, Kuma, Yoshimits, and Nina Williams, among other big names from the franchise.

For Tekken 8, Bandai Namco has formed one of the most expansive rosters to date. Thanks to the developer who has over the last months, regularly released character trailers, it's easy to piece together information about the fighters and how they'll behave.

Nonetheless, it won't be until 2024 that the game is fully playable. Only those who were lucky enough to gain access to the beta in July have been able to test out half the roster thus far.
