Release Window for Alan Wake 2 DLC Revealed

The Lake House DLC might be here in time for Halloween.
by Natalie Collazo on July 01, 2024

It's finally here: the release window for Alan Wake's The Lake House DLC. Remedy Entertainment released a series of questions and answers as part of their Alan Wake 2 FAQ. One of the questions asks if anything can be said about the DLC itself, to which the developer responded:

Not much! For starters, it’s coming in October.

The Lake House is a mysterious facility situated on the shores of Cauldron Lake set up by an independent government organization?to conduct secret research… until something goes wrong.

Explore the?Lake House?and embark on an adventure as the realities of the Pacific Northwest and the Dark Place collide again.

The Lake House DLC For Alan Wake 2 Launches in October

For fans who don't know about the Remedy Entertainment universe, the Alan Wake, Control, and Quantum Break universes are all connected by dark, supernatural worlds and entities. The last DLC to be released for Alan Wake 2, Night Springs, brought Control protagonist Jesse Faden into the fray, further connecting the games. The description provided for the Alan Wake 2 DLC is very obscure, which is to be expected, but it also alludes to another thread connecting the universes together.

Hopefully, the DLC will soon be shown off in a trailer, and a more concrete release date will be revealed beyond an FAQ update. The Night Springs DLC was released this past June to positive reviews from critics. Alan Wake 2 was also well received, an entire ten years after the first installment was released.  The Remedy Entertainment universe is ever-expanding, and fans can't wait to see what more it can bring.
