Delta Force: Hawk Ops Alpha Begins This Week

A new free-to-play shooter enters Alpha on Thursday
by Tit Krajnik on July 15, 2024

Developed by TiMi Studio Group and Team Jade, The Delta Force: Hawk Ops is an upcoming free-to-play first-person tactical shooter that will enter the PC Alpha test this week. Announced in late June, the first Alpha test is now just three days away, albeit only available for a select few players.

The developers have yet to officially announce the game's release date. However, the PC Alpha test is set to launch on July 18 and will be available for a few players who receive invites.

Players eager to play Delta Force: Hawk Ops can apply for Alpha access on Steam or on the official website. Alternatively, players can get Steam Keys as Twitch drops.

The Alpha test comes after a technical test, which ran from July 11-15 and will include both of the game’s primary multiplayer game modes – Hazard Operations and Havoc Warfare.

Delta Force: Hawk Ops Alpha Game Modes

Delta Force: Hawk Ops Alpha will launch with two primary multiplayer game modes, giving the players a glimpse of what to expect once the game fully releases.

Hazard Operations is an extraction shooter mode in which the players begin with a loadout that includes weaponry, health items, and armor before deploying in a three-person squad to a random location.

The squad is then tasked to locate and extract the most valuable resources – like in other extraction shooters.

On the map, players will encounter AI enemies and rival players who are after completing the same task. Failure to reach their extraction point or dying at the hands of other players or AI enemies risks losing everything, including weapons and items looted throughout the match.

Havoc Warfare offers an entirely different experience – a full-on warfare on huge maps, with a variety of land, sea, and air vehicles. The game mode is about a battle for map dominance between two teams of 32, 4-person squads.

The Delta Force: Hawk Ops PC Alpha will include two Havoc Warfare maps, with more available in the full game release.

For the two game modes, players will get to pick between six different operators, including Kai Silva, Roy Smee, Luna Chen, Terry Musa, Wang Yuhao, and Mai Xiaowen. Each operator brings its own set of unique abilities and tactical equipment.

The Delta Force: Hawk Ops PC Alpha starts on July 18 and will be only available on PC.
