Prince of Persia Sands Of Time Remake Won't Be Shown At E3

The Game Is Coming In 2022
by Oliver VanDervoort on June 09, 2021

Anyone who was hoping to see the remake of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time next week, are apparently going to be disappointed.

The developers announced through their official Twitter account that the game won't be shown off at E3 this year.

More specifically, it won't be making an appearance at the Ubisoft Forward event. There had been some who thought it might be one of the games shown off during the event.

Part of the reason for that is that there simply hasn't been much news of any kind about the upcoming title.

While the game won't be at the show, the developers have said they are making great progress on the game. They added that it's on track to release next year. However, they aren't willing to show it off just yet.

They ended the message by saying they will be updating Prince of Persia: Sands of Time fans in the very near future.

For now, we'll just have to wait and see when new info is coming. At the very least, those who thought the studio might have abandoned the project altogether can rest easy that production is indeed still moving right along.
