Fortnite Gets Blasted By One Of The Worlds Top Soccer Managers

He's not a fan of his players ... playing it.
by Oliver VanDervoort on August 01, 2021

Fortnite might be one of the most popular games on the planet, but that doesn't mean it's universally beloved and Italian club A.S. Roma's manager Jose Mourinho is amongst those who isn't a fan. It's not that he's tried Fortnite and decided he didn't like it.

Instead, Mourinho has a problem with the game because far too many of the men under his charge are "addicted."

In a recent video introducing the head man to the fans, he briefly addressed his dislike of Fortnite

The outspoken ex-Real Madrid and Chelsea coach described the Battle Royale as a “nightmare." He added: “Football players stay up all night playing that sh*t, and the next day they have a game.”

It's fair to say that coaches in other sports likely share that opinion. There are quite a few players in all kinds of different scenes that are known to be pretty heavy Fortnite players.

That also means that while Mourinho might want the game to go away forever, it doesn't look likely that it's going away anytime soon.
