9INE Form A New Polish CS:GO Roster
9INE are back with a Polish lineup
by Tit Krajnik on August 05, 2022

Swedish esports organization 9INE has returned to the competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene on Friday, August 5, with a new Polish roster. Led by Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziamalek, 9INE are set to debut its new lineup on August 16 at ESL Challenger League Season 42 Europe.

Nearly nine months after releasing its Swedish lineup in December 2021, 9INE has returned to the professional CS:GO scene with the signing of Krzysztof "Goofy" Górski, Kamil "KEi" Pietkun, Kacper "Kylar" Walukiewicz, and two Counter-Strike veterans in Wiktor "mynio" Kruk and Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziamalek.

The roster core consists of players who played together at Anonymo Esports in 2021 but have since jumped around various teams, including Illuminar Gaming and MONKE. Mynio also spent a brief time at the now-disbanded Wisla Krakow in 2021, when he played with Goofy and SZPERO.

The new lineup featuring veterans and young and promising players is headlined by Goofy and Keim as two of the best performers of 2022. The duo has averaged 1.07 and 1.08 performance ratings, respectively, granted they have been fairly inactive in the CS:GO scene, having played just 16 official maps over the last three months.

Nevertheless, with the right mix of talented youngsters and veteran figures, 9INE hold some promise as they get ready for the next season. The Polish CS:GO roster will make its debut at ESL Challenger League Season 42 Europe, slated to kick off on Tuesday, August 16.

The tournament will welcome 16 CS:GO teams who will compete for the lion's share of the $50,000 prize pool and a ticket leading into ESL Pro League Conference Season 17 as a gateway to the $835,000 ESL Pro League Season 17.
