Plan Your Starfield Character Ahead Of Launch

How much more excited can you even be?
by Natalie Collazo on August 30, 2023

The early access release of Starfield starts tomorrow, which means that a new chapter of gaming is only 24 hours away. If you're like us and are incredibly excited to create your character and travel amongst the stars, then you might want to think about what sort of character you're going to create first. Fortunately, a build planner has been created which allows players to plan out who their character is using different skill trees and stats.

The builder was built by Nukes & Dragons and lets you invest points into the different skills that then break down into more comprehensive versions of what those skills do. You can feed points into each of these skills to see what more can be unlocked as you progress through the game. The information presented in the builder is based on what is currently available for the game and can change as information comes to light or as information becomes updated.

Your character can choose from a variety of different backgrounds that each have their own skill sets that you start the game with. As you progress, the choices that you make and the skills that you choose and upgrade will determine how other NPS view you and how they will interact with you. The table above gives a good idea of how things might be in-game if you choose the path that you most desire.

Starfield will be available on September 6 for Xbox Series X|S and PC. If you happen to have Game Pass, you can pick up the discounted version of the Constellation Edition for $34.99 USD so that you can play the early access starting on August 31. In the meantime, you can listen to the song that Imagine Dragons produced specifically for the game, Children of the Sky.
