Shin Megami Tensei V Relives on All Platforms

Just after Persona 3 Reload, huh?
by Natalie Collazo on February 28, 2024

After nearly three years since it originally launched, Shin Megami Tensei V will be getting a definitive edition on all platforms: Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance breathes new life into the game with a new story route titled "Canon of Vengeance." The trailer announcing the game came out on February 21, but a new, extended trailer was just released today.

When Does Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Come Out?

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is expected to be released on June 21. There is also a limited edition steelbook that you can get just by preordering the game. You will also receive the "2 Sacred Treasure Sets" DLC as part of the preorder. This, alongside nearly 80 hours of new content and a storyline that has a completely new ending, fans are in for a treat.

Vengeance is also set to add a variety of quality-of-life features, new gameplay mechanics, and over 40 additional demons. The DLC will also include its own quests that will feature Dagda from the fourth game and a new demon named Konohana Sakuya. Unfortunately, you won't be able to transfer your saved data from the base game if you already have it, so expect to have to start over if you want to play it on release.
