You're in Luck! Concord Beta Extended By One More Day

Get the chance to play it today!
by Natalie Collazo on July 15, 2024

Concord is one of the biggest PS5/PC games this year. With 5v5 competitions in space, players who didn't get a chance to join the beta now have an extra day to do so!

The game involves several characters called Freegunners. The objective is for teams of five to go head-to-head across incredible worlds to complete a range of objectives. On release, players will have to deal out $39.99, but the beta is free for those who want to try it out instead.

One of the biggest differences between Concord and other shooters in the same vein is how PvP works. Concord has six PvP modes that players can use and play with 16 different Freerunners. There are also various skins and other cosmetics that players can use to give their character a much more personal feel. Each character also has their own story that players can discover throughout.

Considering the game is also available on PS5, it has cross-play. However, it hasn't been noted whether that means that it will also be cross-save. PlayStation 5 players must be subscribed to PlayStation Plus to get in on the action. Even if you're playing on Steam, you must still have a PlayStation Network account to log in and play the game. Players can join their friends in the firefight instead of progressing with random people or trying to go at it alone.

Hopefully, Concord will carve out a space for itself in the wave of several shooters being released simultaneously.
