Twitter Leak Points to Dragon Ball Z Kakarot DLC

Here's to hoping we'll hear more information soon.
by Natalie Collazo on July 08, 2024

A Reddit user has sneakily posted what appears to be proof of an upcoming DLC for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. The Reddit post is simply a link to a post concerning lines of code that include text that points to the base game.

After four years since its initial release, Dragon Ball Z Kakarot might receive DLC. The only thing better than this news is that the supposed DLC will be about the upcoming Dragon Ball DAIMA film. Alongside the DLC, it seems that something that translates to Skyseed Platform will be a part of it. Before this, there hadn't been any plans for a new set of DLC beyond the third set.

Leaks Lead to the Possibility of a Dragon Ball Z Kakarot DLC

The lines of code were posted to Twitter/X by user @Josou_Kit, where they go into detail as to what the code actually means. Beside the images, the user posted Google translations of what the lines of codes were roughly saying, leading to the speculation.

Players in the Reddit comments have discussed what their theories on the DLC will be since no official information has yet to be revealed. However, considering that the latest DLC for the Dragon Ball Z Kakarot was just released in February, the first DLC in any new sets probably won't be available until 2025. Hopefully, players will come to learn more information as the year goes on including a hard release date.
