Team Ninja Releases Demo to Popular Samurai Game

This might convince more players to check it out.
by Natalie Collazo on July 26, 2024

Rise of the Ronin lets players live their samurai dreams in 19th-century Japan. Team Ninja nailed the period's aesthetic while creating an engaging, combat-focused world. Now, players who have been skeptical about the game can check out the demo and see if they like it.

Rise of the Ronin was released earlier this year in March and was met with generally positive reviews from fans of Soulslikes. Players can meet with famed historical figures and face crucial decisions that can alter the outcome of events. Fans of Nioh and NINJA GAIDEN have expressed their love for the game.

Rise of the Ronin Demo Releases

Although players have expressed their enjoyment for the game and it's combat, there are still those who are not convinced. It looks like developer Team NINJA read the feedback and decided to take matters into their own hands, releasing a tweet to announce the demo.

While the replies are mainly from players who are already fans of the game, a majority of the comments are about something else entirely: when will the game be released on PC. The developer hasn't made any announcements about that, but it's possible that that information might be touched on soon enough.

Hopefully, the fact that a demo was released on PlayStation 5 means that Team NINJA wants to see how many players are truly interested in the game outside of those who outright bought it. Could we a PC announcement actually be on the horizon?
